Aged Care

Aged Care visits have been an integral part of our student curriculum since 2009.  In 2009, a group of committed students spent time each fortnight at the Mid Coast Care Bargain Centre with Bundaleer Aged Care residents.

All Year 8 students were involved in a similar program in 2010.  This involved regular visits to the school by residents of Regis Manor, Garden Village and other Retirement Villages.  Residents shared in morning tea and spent time with students who provided entertainment and in some cases, students recorded the life stories of the residents.

In 2011 and again into 2012, our Aged Care visits have centred mainly around our Year 5 and 6 students, visiting residents at Bethany Aged Care.
