Our facilities

Heritage Christian School is situated in a peaceful and picturesque area, adjacent to coastal wetlands, yet only minutes from the centre of town.

The school offers modern classrooms for children from Kindergarten to Year 12, experienced and qualified teachers, an excellent pastoral care program and one of the largest out-of-school primary sports programs in the Hastings.

HCS is equipped with the latest technology and facilities for hospitality and food technology studies, science laboratories, a basketball court, primary and secondary computer rooms, an infants playground and library, all set within landscaped gardens.

The school is also within close proximity to many external sporting facilities, allowing us to offer experiences and training in several sports including cricket, soccer, basketball, football, tennis, wind surfing, mountain biking and surfing. 

HCS conducts regular excursions aimed at fostering the educational, social and spiritual development of children. In senior years, these are directed towards fulfilling assessable curriculum tasks.

The school also conducts a camping program involving all students from Year 3 to Year 12. Camps vary from an overnight stay to 3-4 day camps (for secondary students). Each year group has a camp each year.
