| Annual "Travelling Suitcase" @ Heritage 1 - 10 May 2012 Heritage is proud to host the annual NCEATA "Travelling Suitcase" display - a display of Textile Art that travels around NSW in May of each year. Newcastle Creative Embroiderers and Textile Artists have been bringing together dynamic textile artists of all skill levels to share, learn and exhibit. We invite all students, parents and friends of Heritage Christian School to come and view this amazing, creative and insipiring display. The display will be set up in H3 at Heritage (please come to the front office to sign in first and to be given directions). Yrs 7-12 Cross Country Friday, 23 March All Year 7 to 12 students must wear their full sports uniform, supportive joggers, and bring a water bottle and sunscreen with them, for our annual Cross Country event on Friday. This run commences at 10am and finishes at Flynns Beach, in time for students to arrive back at school to catch their normal after-school bus. Please remember to fill ip your fundraiser sponsorship booklet! Our school will benefit and their are various prizes students can quality for depending on the amount raised. School Photos Monday, 19 March A reminder for our school community that ALL students are to arrive at school on time AND in FULL school uniform, ready for photos on Monday 19 March. K-6 students - polo shirt, shorts, joggers 7-10 students - white shirt, shorts (boys), check skirt (girls), black school shoes 11-12 students - as above, but with navy tie and blazer (if wanted) Please Note: the following are NOT permitted: coloured laces, coloured socks, non-uniform hairbands, excessive jewellery, extreme hairstyles. Lunchtime Fundraisers During Term 1, we have two groups organising weekly lunchtime fundraisers:- EVERY TUESDAY - SAUSAGE SIZZLE @ LUNCHTIME Sausage sandwich - $2 Poppers - $1 (Fundraiser for Duke of Edinburgh students) EVERY THURSDAY - PANCAKES @ LUNCHTIME (commencing 15 March) Pancakes with toppings (Fundraiser for Senior Snow Trip) Welcome/Meet the Teachers BBQ We would love to have all of our Heritage families (parents, carers, students) attend a special BBQ to welcome you all to 2012, especially our new families this year, and for a chance for parents/carers to meet our teachers. We will be providing ALL the food and drink - you just need to bring yourselves. WHEN? Wednesday, 29 February WHERE? @ Heritage - Secondary Courtyard TIME? 6pm - 7:30pm RSVP to the School Office by Mon, 27 Feb (for catering purposes) HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
